I write the
following article for all those who must make a diploma or master's thesis in
the future. This is based on experience that I have gathered during my diploma
thesis creation. If you also have tips, I ask them in the comments box to
describe.
Inform helps! I
am not (only) about the subject. Rather, at least one book about it should be
read in advance of a thesis how to actually create them. To do this, I can the
book: scientific work. Form of thesis writing service recommend technology - methodology. This
book is required reading, and summed up a number of the author's years of
experience together!
Planning helps!
I made a relatively precise timetable at the beginning of my thesis. In this it
is written when, what chapter is finished. Also are people who have to do with
the thesis, noted (proof-readers, reviewers, etc.)Tool: Visio 2007 - advantage:
you keep track and see immediately when you get temporal problems. Also, the
academic and operational supervisor will receive an overview of the work and
the current status. This 'structured' approach is usually very appreciated such
persons (plus!). Give a feedback regularly (weekly) the people and talk to
changes or problems at an early stage.
Technology
helps - write! There are many tools that will assist you in preparing a
master's thesis on the Internet. The choice of the word processor is completely
at the beginning. I have personally used Word 2007. Looks good, you can create
great graphics (SmartArt) and the tables are easier to make than with TeX.
Unfortunately, there were significant problems but - just at the end of the
thesis. Word 2007 crashed often and changes were not applied. Therefore, I
advise in principle with such extensive works to TeX (instructions). A
comparison of which is two tools can be found here: Link
Technology
helps - quote! Can a thesis well over 100 direct / indirect citations occur. To
cope with this amount of information, it is advisable to use a citation
program: Citavi - warning: in the free version, you can "only" manage
100 sources.
